Waiting on Wednesday

"Waiting On Wednesday" is a weekly event, originally started by Jill at Breaking the Spine , that highlights upcoming book releases everyone is waiting on...hence the title. This week's pick is Soul Taken by Katlyn Duncan.  Here's the synopsis:

After-life just got a lot more complicated

Maggie is a Soul Collector. It’s her job to transport souls from the Living Realm to the After – but during a mission to find a stolen soul, she ends up stuck in a teen mean girl’s body.

Trapped, Maggie’s soul is catapulted into Ally’s life – and the human world she hasn’t experienced for one hundred years. But, as a descendant of the most powerful beings in the After, Maggie must rescue Ally before the girl’s soul dies…

To survive, Maggie must uncover devastating secrets – because with one soul taken by a terrifying enemy, Maggie’s could be next!

I am ecstatic that this book is being published as I had the privilege of beta reading a VERY early copy of this for my good friend, Katlyn.  It may have changed somewhat during that time but now that makes me even more intrigued to read it!!!  You may not know this but Katlyn used to be a book blogger and ran I Just Wanna Sit Here and Read which had one of the prettiest blog designs I had ever seen at the time.  Put this one on your list and enjoy one of the first titles from Carina Press.

Soul Taken is published on 4th June, 2013.  To find out more about Katlyn Duncan and her books, please click here to visit her website.

  2. This one sounds absolutely amazing! The though of being stuck in a mean girl's body is terrifying and that cover is absolutely beautiful as well.
