Waiting on Wednesday

I *almost* forgot about Waiting on Wednesday this week what with all the new job stuff going on but thank goodness I didn't. In case you need reminding, "Waiting On Wednesday" is a weekly event, originally started by Jill at Breaking the Spine , that highlights upcoming book releases everyone is waiting on...hence the title. This week's pick is As I Wake by Elizabeth Scott. Here is the description from Goodreads:

"What if you woke up and didn't know where you were?

What if you didn't know who you were?

And what if, when your memories started to come back--what if they didn't match the you that you're supposed to be?"

It's short and sweet, although I expect there may be more as it gets nearer to release date. I like the leading questions and the "what if's". I also like the subtext of "why is this happening?" I do like Elizabeth Scott's writing and that cover is to DIE FOR, so it's going on the wishlist. As I Wake is not published until September 15th, 2011 but I know I'll be ordering the hardback.
