"Waiting On Wednesday" is a weekly event, originally started by Jill at Breaking the Spine , that highlights upcoming book releases everyone is waiting on...hence the title. This week's pick is Allegiant by Veronica Roth.  Here's the synopsis:

Once again, Veronica Roth's upcoming new novel Allegiant has to be one of the most anticipated books of the year, just like last year, and the year before that.  This is one of the best series' I've ever read and I am in love with the US covers.  I'm not entirely sure if the third book is the final book (I am guessing so) and so with that in mind, I have mixed feelings about reading it. Of course, I can't wait to get my hands on it but I'm going to make sure that when I finally do, I savour every moment of it.  This series has made Veronica Roth one of my automatic pre-order authors and has guaranteed that I will read anything she writes.    

Allegiant is published in the UK and the US on 22nd October, 2013.
