"Waiting On Wednesday" is a weekly event, originally started by Jill at Breaking the Spine , that highlights upcoming book releases everyone is waiting on...hence the title. This week's pick is The Sound by Sarah Alderson. Here's the synopsis:

I'm a huge fan of Sarah Alderson and am very excited to read her new stand-alone novel. I love the cover and the synopsis and that's all I can say really. Bring it on!
The Sound is published on 1st August, 2013.
