My BBAW Post


Has everyone heard of Book Blogger Appreciation Week? It's an annual event now in its third year that celebrates the book blogging community. Book Blogger Appreciation Week or BBAW for short (let's face it, it's a lot easier to type out the abbreviation) also has an awards component to it and I've decided to put myself forward for Best Young Adult Book Blog and Best New Book Blog. I realise I'm up against some fantastic bloggers and friends for the awards but it's all in good spirits and you never know unless you try, right?

I'm entering 5 reviews in the award categories and these are:

1. Shiver by Maggie Stiefvater
2. 13 To Life by Shannon Delany
3. Heavenly by Jennifer Laurens
4. Penitence by Jennifer Laurens
5. Matched by Ally Condie

I'm not entirely sure how I feel about nominating myself but I'm going to give it a shot. I look forward to the week in September and discovering new blogs, making friends and finding out about other blogger nominations.
