"Clarity "Clare" Fern sees things. Things no one else can see. Things like stolen kisses and long-buried secrets. All she has to do is touch an object and the visions come to her. It's a gift.
And a curse.
When a teenage girl is found murdered, Clare's ex-boyfriend wants her to help solve the case — but Clare is still furious at the cheating jerk. Then Clare's brother — who has supernatural gifts of his own — becomes the prime suspect, and Clare can no longer look away. Teaming up with Gabriel, the smoldering son of the new detective, Clare must venture into the depths of fear, revenge, and lust in order to track the killer. But will her sight fail her just when she needs it most?"
Oh how I love a bit of psychometry and the beach setting is just perfect; I've always wanted to go to Cape Cod. Clarity is being published by Scholastic and won't be released until March, 2011.
Sounds brilliant! I agree, the cover is stunning. I'll have to keep an eye out for this one when it comes out next year. Thanks for letting me know about it!♥

ReplyDeleteHmm...I like the sound of it, but um...I'm not so in love with the cover. That glare on her hair in the photo is a bit distracting (to me at least). Just my two cents...but thanks for the heads up on this upcoming release! ^_^
ReplyDeleteThanks Keri, Gaby and Cara!
ReplyDeleteKim - no problem!! :)
GMR - I really like it but it's just personal opinion. I think the story has real potential regardless of cover ;)

ReplyDeleteOoh, this looks fab. I like anything with a bit of a supernatural twist! As for the cover, I think it's kinda creepy, but I like it. Very eye-catching.
ReplyDeleteGlad you all like the look of it! I'm hoping Scholastic will also publish this in the UK :)
